Z15 cap plan APN issues

Post by BenHolmes » Fri Sep 02, 2011 7:55 pm

I've changed my mobile from WM-C, an old HSPDA plan, to one of the special Z15 plans and per my member facilities the change has gone through however I can still access the internet via the Exetel1 APN while the Internet and OptusWAP APN's don't work (I've also tried the IPhone YesInternet APN but that doesn't work either). Is there something I need to do in my member facilities to activate the new APN's?

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S, get good connection/speed with Exetel1 but nothing with the other 3 APN's.

I have created a ticket (4399640) and passed it to the provisioning dept to activate the above APN's on your service.

We'll let you know once it's done. :)

Any update on this? I'm still connecting via Exetel1 and the ticket number you've referenced isn't showing up if I log into the helpdesk area

Following APN values are now provisioned to your service.

YESINTERNET
MMS
OPTUSWAP
EXETEL1
INTERNET

Please test the service with the above APN's and let us know the outcome. You may reply the email which I have sent you. :)

Hi Steve I cannot get a data connection on any of the listed APNS since changing from WM-A to ZZ8.
My ticket number is 4474344. Can you please have a look at it.

I have also logged a ticker Support #4475720

I seem to get very slow speeds on my HTC Windows Mobile device and also need help setting up the iphone3GS APN and SMTP mail server.

Thanks

Could you please try with following,

APN : yesinternet
Outgoing mail server : mail.optusnet.com.au

Please update me if the slow speed persists with the above APN setup.
