Real Time Usage

I switched over to Exetel M15 mobile plan on Wednesday and today (well, technically yesterday) decided to check out what information is available in member service

Looking at Data Usage under Manage Services -> Mobile Broadband & Mobile

Seemed ok until I looked at Real time Usage since 2012-08-29 15:15:30



104MB in a 24 hour period

what exactly am I looking at here?

It seems rather excessive
One half hour session, whilst I was on a bus, consumed 70MB

I was with vodafone for 2 years on a 550MB allowance which I only came close to exceeding on 2 occasions and I'm pretty sure there was no "unmetered" data from social networking sites included. Now it looks like I'll have month left at the end of the data.

I don't suppose exetel can tell me where I got the bulk of the data - the 70mb - from?

As we discussed let's monitor the usage for next few days. Please update us if the usage continues to show higher than it's expected to be.
