Mobile plans

Post by pjred » Mon Oct 08, 2012 7:24 pm

Hi,

I'm have a couple of Z15 plans, and when I go to manage services>change mobile plans, the only one on offer is the U39, far too much for me.

If I go to order services, other plans show up, but there is no order button?

I noticed that all plans were available in the members section for a brief moment but now it is back to just U39 being offered. I'm aware of what plans are available but i'm interested in changing plans so i'm wondering if i could get an indication on when these changes to the members section will be finalised?

Also, can i confirm that there is no adsl discount to mobile plans and that bundling discount is already built into the price. Basically the price advertised in the members section will be the price billed to me.

I am also interested in changing my plan but do not want the U39, which is the only one that shows up when I use 'Change Mobile Plan'. What is the best way to go about doing this.

Hi,

Could you please PM me your service number.

There will be no additional ADSL discounts if you move to an 'M' Plan.

Hi,

So what's going on with Mobile Plans?
I have the same issue as previous posters (only U39 available in Member's section). [email sent to residential sales yesterday - no response/ticket number yet].
I have browsed other forum threads where a link was provided that shows upcoming "N" plans (the page stated these would only be available from 1/10/12).
The upcoming N plans seem to provide a bit less value than M (no longer an additional, separate Exetel-to-Exetel call allowance) and cost $0.10 less than equivalent M plans...

And the 4G plans seem to be "Coming Soon..." for a while now :)

Any ETA when the mobile plans are going to be sorted out and cleaned up?

Thanks,
Danny

There is a System change that is still underway to add the M-Plans to the Member Services Portal at the moment.

The M-Plans were due to be removed this Month, however Exetel negotiated a late extension which enabled the offer to continue for the Month of November.

The 4G Voice plans were scheduled to be released Mid October, but were also delayed by our Wholesale Partner. They are currently expected to be released towards the end of the month.

Hi,
How does the "Comparison" tab work on the Manage Services > Mobile Broadband & Mobile area within the Members Facilites?
Is there several months that are compared? To me the is just a table of numbers without much explination around them eg.
Mobile Plan Name Mothly Charge
CAP35 $53.70
M8 $23.10
M15 $15.60
M29 $29.60
M39 $39.50
U39 $123.46
CAP35 $59.86
M8 $59.53
M15 $26.60
M29 $40.60
M39 $40.50
U39 $149.00
CAP35 $46.40
M8 $30.19
M15 $26.40
M29 $40.40
M39 $40.00
U39 $118.18
CAP35 $47.38
U39 $114.38
CAP35 $35.00
U39 $124.75

If it is broken up into months at each CAP35 the it looks like I could save some money, however how does this work?
I think the only extras are International texts and calls but these don't seem to be included with the M plans anyway???
"M8 M15 M29 Use Plan Exclusions

All calls to international landline, VoIP services and mobile numbers."

Any one able to advise on this?

Thanks

I have another query too.
Am thinking about getting a mobile for my son who will start High School next year.
I was looking at the M8 plan for this so he could send a text or call if he needs to.
Reading through the plans and mobile usage there was mention of Premium SMS being blocked by default - this is a good thing.
How does this work if he were to sign up to something (he will be given warnings on this, but you never know) - will there be any notification to me in the members facilities or does Exetel just block any of these at/from the source?

Thanks again
