APN for HTC desire

Post by Grtmthane » Tue Nov 13, 2012 11:25 pm

I've looked at the Wiki, and tried to set up a working APN for internet access for my HTC Desire.

My current settings are as follows:

Name: Optus internet
APN: internet
Proxy: not set
Port: not set
Username: not set
Password: not set
Server: not set
MMSC: not set
MMS proxy: not set
MMS port: not set
MMS protocol: WAP2.0
MCC: 505
MNC: 02
Authentication type: PAP
APN type: default

With these settings, Mobile networks says "Connection failed due to incorrect APN setting" - no internet access.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Still no response. This is not what I would call great customer service.

If there is anything I can do to make this process work, please tell me. I have PMed Fahim without response, and I have read and tried what is on the wiki. What now?
