I need move to another plan ASAP

I was on an old mobile broadband that seems to have finished up beginning of March (and not the end of March I expected..) :!:
I'm now on a mobile plan (I've not seen before) where I will be paying bit for data and now no voice service...
  • Can I move to another mobile plan ASAP, without waiting to end of month?
    I've put in a change of plan request to HSPA ... is there is a escalation process?
    I would even consider moving (or porting??) to 4G plan if it has voice, but exetel has limited my choices of plans...

I have arranged one of our sales representative to contact you directly tomorrow to discuss further about your plan change inquiry.
I did talk to a sales representative, but she did not have a solution where I could move to another plan and keep the same number.
Note, This mobile number has been printed on business cards, therefore keeping the same number with voice access is important.

Hi Craig,

If you wish to keep the same number,you need to apply for a plan change. However provisioning of these plan changes cannot be done manually as it’s an automated process which will run on your next billing cycle.

Move to the premium data/voice plan, or one of the retail voice plans.

It looks like if a wish to move to a better data/voice plan without waiting to the end of the month bill cycle, I must to port to another carrier...
But I'm still open to other ideas..

Hi Craig,

A plan change would only come into effect on the following billing date. As it's important to you to maintain the same number, there's no other option.

OMG, you guy have been ripping me off severly!
For March 2013 $105 for $9.95 worth off calls
For Feb 2013 $37 for $9.95 worth off calls
For Jan 2013 $32 for $9.95 worth off calls

Please put me (0432 187 699) on the $9.95/month plan

I believe I have a right by law to keep the same number.

Also...
Sometimes I go over 200MB in a month
- will you cut off my access to the Internet like you did this month
- or will you be ripping me off again by charging 10 times what you change others?

Sir, you are welcome to change your plan anytime you like in yoru members area.

if you are charged extra, it is because you are going over your plan allowance.

Let me paraphrase: "The reason why we, Exetel, are ripping you off is because you're on the wrong plan.
- Go over your limit - we'll charge you ten times the fair rate - dollar a minute and $500 a gig.
The principle of plans with fair rates died with John in 2012."


As a memorial to John, are you trying to get rid of all the original customers?
