Email service totally rooted!

Ever since I've been with Exetel my email service to my iPhone has been patchy at best. I've deleted and reconfigured addresses countless times and now it is totally rooted. I've ended up with a load of outgoing servers I cannot delete. It is driving me absolutely nuts.

Yes, I've checked and rechecked the information:
POP not IMAP
Incoming address: pop3.nsw.exemail.com.au
outgoing address: mail.optusnet.com.au
Port: 25
SSL: OFF
Passwords etc all good
I am Getting system messages ranging from "sever does not allow relaying" to "......pop3.nsw.exemail.com.au not responding check internet connection." GEEZ!

Seems like everytime I've tried to redo my email accounts the system adds another outgoing server to the list that cannot me deleted. Driving me absolutely insane.
I've read as many posts on here I can find, still no solution.
