Diversion codes

Post by maestro » Wed Apr 10, 2019 9:48 pm

I have been looking for how to set up diversions for an exetel mobile but haven't been able to find anything with google.

Where can I find out how to divert all calls?

Is there anything special that I need to do to divert them to an overseas number?

Is it possible to set up a diversion while the phone is not working or out of range? (eg, through the exetel website?)

Thanks

Please find the following codes with regards to the Mobile call diversions.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
67 Divert calls when "Busy" (on another call)
61 Divert calls when "Answer" (i.e. didn’t hear mobile ring)
62 Divert calls when "Unreachable" (i.e. mobile turned off)
21 Divert "All calls" (i.e. when roaming overseas)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, it is possible ...

Please use the following code for that.

Only diverts when no coverage: code 62

Ex: ** 62 * (target phone number) ** (enter ring time: 05, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30) # (press call)

Sorry, I did not explain myself very well.

If I want to set up a diversion for all calls (without ringing), which is a "21" code, but I am unable to set it from my mobile because I am not in mobile range. Can I do this from a landline phone? Or is it possible to do it through Exetel's website?

Unfortunately it is not possible to activate the said diversion through Exetel's website or through a landline.

If you want us to activate all calls to be diverted - please PM us with your mobile number and the target number (the number that you want the calls to be diverted to) where we can urgently look into the request.

Also you can drop an email reply with the above requested details - to the same email (Reference # : 14828932) which we have already sent.

OK, Thanks.

Hopefully I won't have this problem, but I will contact you if I do.
