"add web space" button doesn't appear
I have been trying to upload a web page using sandvox and my mac, and when I go into 'web space config' page there is a paragraph at the bottom that says "add web space" but there is no such button on my page. any ideas? I tried to get a password thing happening but it keeps rejecting it.
Hi planet9
The "add webspace" button is missing because you have already created a webspace - look at the top of the page you are referring to for your webspace name. You can change the password or name of your existing webspace, but you cannot create a second webspace (each customer is only allowed one).

Can you describe what you mean by this?I tried to get a password thing happening but it keeps rejecting it.

In sandvox there is a host setup utility, It's pretty straight forward and the info from exetel seems to be easy to understand. Sandvox probes exetel to see if the whole thing works. It tests connection, it says:
contacting 127.0.0.1...
establishing FTP connection... Connected.
Attempting to upload a test file...
Password was not accepted.
Ive got URL Format as http://home.com.au/campbell_miller
Hostname as 127.0.0.1
Username as USER039531xxxx
Password as 'the password that Iv'e reset a few times'
Thanks for the info!

Hi planet9
The details you give in your last post, namely,
The Database Name: DB03xxxxxxxx (DB+your service number)
The Database User Name: USER03xxxxxxxx (USER+your service number)
The Database Host Name: 127.0.0.1
The password : xxxxxxx(You set in Database Configuration page)
are what you use to access your MySQL Database not the details you need to use to FTP into your site - see this page in your User Facilities (after you log in).
To FTP into your site, you use
Hostname: home.exetel.com.au
Username: 03xxxxxxxx
Password: 'the password that I've reset a few times'
(see this page in your User Facilities - after you log in)

Glad it's working
Lots of software that you might install on your webspace (forums, photo galleries, blogs etc) use a MySQL database.
When you are ready to learn about MySQL, this link isn't a bad place to start - or you could Google for other references.
