Brisbane DIDs?

Post by hornet48 » Thu Apr 17, 2008 4:12 pm

I have been issued with a number 07 5641 XXXX for my new Exetel Voip number.

It is obviously a Qld DID. Good.

But where is it actually located geographically?

(It does not look like a Brisbane DID - which usually start with a 07 3).

(and Gold Coast DIDs are usually 07 56XX xxxx)

Regards,

Harry.

Are there any Brisbane DIDs coming though?

If someone calls the number from Brisbane, they are obviously going to be charged STD - it is much better to have a 07 3xxx xxxx number...

According to http://web.acma.gov.au/numb/openAccess/ ... nSearch.do the 0756410000..0756419999 number range belongs to Verizon at the Southport exchange. This is near Nerang.

If you called the main line 02 9927 1000 then this is not a VoIP number it is a standard PSTN service so to speak.

Out of curiosity...... is there an "Exetel voip" number (so to speak) we can ring to get Exetel customer service?
