Getting DID after sign up

Hi all,

Very seriously considering getting VOIP, but will be used mostly for outgoing calls (Have family in Sydney and Canberra and we live around Wagga, so would need at least 2 DIDs for cheap incoming calls). Ok, so is it possible to setup a VOIP account without a DID and then get a DID later on? Initially, VOIP will most likely be used on computers, mine a Linux operating system so either Ekiga or Skype and the other an XP system, so same choices can be considered. Are there any issues that I should be careful of?

We no longer offer DIDless number due to legal requirement. DID will be your only choice. Most software notably Xlite & Ekiga work with us, Skype will not work though.
