Hi All,
I'm having some problems setting up my VOIP line. I'm running a Linksys PAP2 VOIP ATA behind a Billion 7300N router.
Inbound calls work 100% fine as far as I can tell. Outbound calls connect, and the recipient can hear me, but I can't hear anything. I don;t even hear a ring tone when the call connects.
I've tried the following:
Followed setup instructions as per email received from Exetel
followed the ATA config instructions for Linksys at http://www.exetel.com.au/voip_pdf/analogue.pdf
forwarded ports 5060 (UDP) and 16384-16482 (UDP) on my router to the ATA's IP.
tried placing the ATA in the router's DMZ.
Nothing seems to change it. is there something else I'm missing? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Re: One way traffic on outbound calls
Surely someone must have an idea whats going on here?
I replaced the unit with a PAP2T and got it working fine, but after half an hour or so it started exhibiting the same symptoms too. Getting extremely frustrated with this as I've tried everything I can think of.
