Good news. Is any change anticipated for the Naked plans?

INC2DSLA was 6G+60G (if my memory has not failed me).

P.S. I notice that https://www.exetel.com.au/members/account_view_plan.php has jumped the gun and is already showing 8G peak (as is the meter on https://www.exetel.com.au/members/home.php ). The change is only meant to apply from next month isn't it?

Yeah, I'd noticed that when I went to check what the old limit was, they're too fast!

Previous plans were:

Code: Select all

Plan Name Activation Phone ADSL2 Downloads Downloads Excess
           charge $/mth $/mth 2am-noon noon-2am $/GB
INC2DSLA $40.00 $15.00 $40.00 60GB 6GB $3.00
INC2DSLB $40.00 $15.00 $50.00 60GB 12GB $3.00
INC2DSLC $40.00 $15.00 $60.00 60GB 27GB $3.00
INC2DSLD $40.00 $15.00 $75.00 60GB 42GB $3.00
INC2DSLE $40.00 $15.00 $90.00 60GB 54GB $3.00
So, in general, a 3GB increase to off-peak (2GB in the case of INC2DSLA and 6GB in the case of INC2DSLE) and the addition of 2 higher usage plans

In the last few months I changed my off peak time before the deadline and so kept my Peak Period Option as 2:00pm - 2:00am... if I change from my current plan to one of these plans will I keep my off peak download times or will it roll back to the regular 12noon-2pm?

I think this was answered elsewhere and that the answer is you keep the extended hours. Let me check...
Edit: Yep. See http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.ph ... 22#p253922

Exetel has been known to backdate member benefits from time to time, typically stated in its mail outs.
Possibly if your plan code isn't changed and facilities reflects the upgrade and you've kept nicely within threshold , then there is a chance users might access the increment early, un penalised - though, at face value you would have to take September 1 as the official line.
Interestingly enough, 'August' lies pretty 'flat' in overall network use which then, moving through September (from reading the yearly graph) begins to trend up.
