We not only changed your plan to TL-B, but also moved your VOIP calls and SMSes for you. All previous customers like you, who have a VOIP and use SMS, will still be same as before.novakreo wrote:My parents were on the TL-AA plan, and without any advance warning or consultation, Exetel has taken away their included VOIP calls and SMSes by moving them to the TL-B plan.
Doesn't seem like good business practice to me.

If Exetel migrated you (as part of the 5% of customers mentioned) to a different plan then you will take any freebies with you from your old plan.Tazz wrote:I'm on the TL-BC plan, if I change to the TL-C3 plan will I lose my 100 free VOIP calls and my free SMS's?
If you elect yourself to change plans, then you get whatever plan inclusions (or lack of inclusions) the new plan has. As always, you need to weigh up the pros and cons of changing plans.

Re: New ADSL1 Plans
As mentioned earlier, with current prices TL-C2 is $3 cheaper for you if you download the 50GB. If you don't download the max, potentially even cheaper.Tazz wrote:I'm on the TL-BC plan, if I change to the TL-C3 plan will I lose my 100 free VOIP calls and my free SMS's?
On current prices there is no reason for anybody to choose TL-C3, TL-C4 or TL-C5
Re: New ADSL1 Plans
I can find no mention anywhere of whether the TL-C3 plan includes the 100 free voip calls or not, so my question remains the same, if I choose to change to the TL-C3 plan will I lose them?vicbitter wrote:As mentioned earlier, with current prices TL-C2 is $3 cheaper for you if you download the 50GB. The TL-C3 plan does not include the 100 free VOIP calls.Tazz wrote:I can find no mention anywhere of whether the TL-C3 plan includes the 100 free voip calls or not, so my question remains the same, if I choose to change to the TL-C3 plan will I lose them?

Re: New ADSL1 Plans
What has happened to all the 8Mb plans? I can't see any listed.
Re: New ADSL1 Plans
Oh well, I'll be staying put then, the free voip is too good to lose!Gidget wrote:The TL-C3 plan does not include the 100 free VOIP calls.Tazz wrote:I can find no mention anywhere of whether the TL-C3 plan includes the 100 free voip calls or not, so my question remains the same, if I choose to change to the TL-C3 plan will I lose them?

Why have Exetel removed them from plans? cost?
Re: New ADSL1 Plans
what about 8192/384 plans ???
Cost Matrix for updated ADSL1/ADSL2 Plans
Cost matrix attached. I hope it helps to make informed decisions.

Notes:
- Assumed cheapest allowable Telstra Homeline Plans where relevant.
- Off peak assumed free and of Zero Value
EDIT
Updated to reflect some tweaking

Re: Cost Matrix for updated ADSL1/ADSL2 Plans
The only plan I would consider changing to is the TL-C4, but it isn't available in the members area to change to!Ravenous wrote:Cost matrix attached. I hope it helps to make informed decisions.

- TL-C2 36 GB is cheapest @ 36 GB to 206 GB for the 1500/256 plans (makes higher teir plans lesser value and pointless)
EDIT
Quick fix is to have a $0.75 /GB excess charge for Heavy User plans.
Re: New ADSL1 Plans
Can we have confirmation on what 'frills' we lose with the new plans? I know we lose the free VOIP calls, but do we lose everything else as well?

Re: New ADSL1 Plans
I don't really need the webspace or email addresses. I do sometimes use the faxes and SMS but since this new plan is $10 cheaper for me, I save anyway.
