1. Whos job is it, surely your account department would have the deposits listed against the invoice numbersable wrote:It is not up to Exetel to keep track of ad hoc payments you have made when it is very clear that these type of payments are not allowed.
2. Ok i can accept that I made an error paying by bpay and i will organise for the payments to cease, but can you please tell me why the front of my bill that i receive every month gives me the option to pay by bpay
as per the copy below
Please find attached the current tax invoice for your account.
If you currently pay your account by either Direct Debit or Credit Card, the payable balance should be zero.
If you currently pay your account by EFT (electronic fund transfer), please use the following bank details to transfer the payable balance.
BSB No: 032097
Account Number: 182459
Account Name: Exetel Pty Ltd
When you arrange an EFT, please use the tax invoice number as a reference number.[/b]
I took this information to mean that i could make payments by EFT (bpay), surely if this is not correct why is it on the front of my bill !!!!
3. I have not broken any rules at all, All I did was to try and pay my account in advance,(as im going overseas next month and wanted to make sure it was covered in case i max out the credit card) as for not being able to view my account payment details and history on a permanent screen, im sure that the ACCC or the TIO would be interested, any simple accounting system would take care of this matter, I know Exetel offers great value for money, thats why I joined your company, but surely being able to see ones payment history is a very basic function,(even from a very basic company like yours)sable wrote:You are not going to get antwhere complaining to ACCC et al, it is you who has broken the rules.
I understand the need to keep costs down when running this type of ISP, and I know there is not a lot of margin but surely there is a way to pay your bills in advance. If i could i would keep my bill at least 2 months in credit at all times.
Also this thread has been on the boards since the 3rd of February, thats 12 days ago, ive had more responses today than any other time, simply amazed.
