I've just changed over to OTC and would like to choose $0.50 per gb excess.
But the user facilities say that "YOUR SELECTION IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL THE FIRST OF NEXT CALENDAR MONTH."
Does that mean I cannot choose till next month, then another month to start. effective making wait for 2 months?
tks

50 cents per gb...
Where abouts do you set this option?
Mine is set to:
OffPeak Excess Downloads per Gbyte: $6.00

I have a similar problem. I actually changed to $0.50 per gb excess on 1st of May , but i'm still stuck with the shaping option today.
Re: Chage peak excess download option
This is a carry over from the previous shaping system, where plans carried a 2GB shaped buffer before racking up $6 per GB at full speed.lukestuart1 wrote:Mine is set to: OffPeak Excess Downloads per Gbyte: $6.00
When this shaping option was no longer offered, those on it, stayed on it, on the basis that they had selected it.
To get it removed and change over to the new $0.50 per GB, you'll need to email Exetel.

I don't anticipate going over my quota this month, so I'm just waiting for Exetel to fix it. Raising a ticket means I'd be reducing my profitability to Exetel, so I'm reluctant to do it.
