Exetel MoIP
Re: Exetel MoIP
any news on the windows mobile application development?

Re: Exetel MoIP
Unfortunately there is no eta for the Windows mobile app which is in development but the android app should be available shortly. A post will be made once each version becomes available.
Re: Exetel MoIP
I am an android user and waiting for the MoIP application.
I was wondering also about this Vippie app that I'm sure you guys have heard of (costs $30). It has the feature 'Built-in tunnel for passing thru voip blockades' which is apparently is also supposed to decrease bandwidth usage. Is this app interesting at all or will the MoIP app be all that I will ever need?

Re: Exetel MoIP
The Android MOIP app is all you will need which will support VOIP/SMS over 3G/Wi-FI, we are currently testing the Android version

Re: Exetel MoIP
When is the update due? MoIP crashes all the time when I first attempt to make a call. Sometimes I have to open the program thrice before making a successful call. But when I make the call, quality is very good, just like a normal GSM call.
Re: Exetel MoIP
The MoIP app is not compatible with the iOS4. This will take some time to have the MoIP app redeveloped and the next update should include
- Support iOS4 & iOS3, app to support multi-tasking (e.g receive incoming calls with the MoIP app minimized)
- delete all calls/sms history logs

Re: Exetel MoIP
Although the full SMS text isn't given in the history, you can view it in your User Facilities - not always convenient, I know, but at least you do get the full record saved.glenn929 wrote:... one thing that my misses windges about with the MoIP is being unable to view the entire sms that was sent, don't know if this could be on the development list

Re: Exetel MoIP
Unfortunately the MoiP app for iPhone will not be able to support multitasking due to iOS4 allowing multitasking ONLY on TCP for signaling and voice streams.
So for now the app for iPhone is being re-developed to be compatible for iOS4 & iOS3 & delete all calls/sms history logs.
