ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
How long do you think existing customers will be allowed to stay on the old vodafone plans?
Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
Could you consider adding a BIS/BES option in the future? Maybe offer it in lieu of the included data on the 2 highest plans, ala Vodafone? Optus' $59 and $79 BYO caps include Blackberry access via their BYO options as well.
And is it advisable to place an order to port an existing Exetel (via Vodafone) plan to the new ones in the user facility now? Or will a "change plan" option be offerred in the future that we should wait for?
Thanks.

As long as they want. How long do you think existing customers will be allowed to stay on the old vodafone plans?
Those plans via the Voda network have just been decommissioned, meaning no new customers can select them.
Existing customers who have no need to change network and are happy can remain on them.

We can't see this happening in the near future but anything is possible.Could you consider adding a BIS/BES option in the future? Maybe offer it in lieu of the included data on the 2 highest plans, ala Vodafone? Optus' $59 and $79 BYO caps include Blackberry access via their BYO options as well.
You will need to do this if you want to change networks, as this is a physical port (transfer) of service. And is it advisable to place an order to port an existing Exetel (via Vodafone) plan to the new ones in the user facility now? Or will a "change plan" option be offerred in the future that we should wait for?
A change plan option will only be for changing plans on the same network.

so does this mean mms and international sms are included in the cap now? (im on the $10 cap now and i dont think they are currently included)ExetelVoice wrote:Calls and SMS included value =But, my understanding of your answer, is that the $60 is for calls & SMS only (you'll need to clarify that though - local, international, voice, video, 13, 1800, voicemail, etc etc).
standard domestic calls to landlines and mobiles.
calls to voicemail
SMS domestic and international
MMS domestic and international
will we need to order a new sim card? will there be a special deal to order a new simcard cheaper for current customers that want to change and any change of plan fees?
does the adsl discount mean all plans exetel offers? im on an old naked adsl2+ at the moment. can i get the discount on this plan?
Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
Is it possible to change from an existing Exetel HSPA Mobile plan to one of the new Exetel "Capped" Mobile plans? e.g. From WBP to CAP19
If so what is the correct procedure?

Is there any chance of having an iPhone tether on these plans or are they crippled like the Optus HSPA plans?

Confirmed. We tested and this is possible. Is there any chance of having an iPhone tether on these plans or are they crippled like the Optus HSPA plans?
However - we are not sure whether Optus will allow this and we are seeking clarification.

I am not sure if this has been stated anywhere already......
Is there a limit to the number of mobile phone plans and ADSL Plan discounts you can order?
ie. if someone was to order a CAP14 AND a CAP19 mobile, do you actually get a $15 ADSL discount?
or: two CAP59 plans with a CAP35 would be a $55 discount.
in theory you could order enough mobiles and get Exetel to pay you to have ADSL!!!!!

There is no limit. You can get as many discounts so that your ADSL will be $0 per month. Is there a limit to the number of mobile phone plans and ADSL Plan discounts you can order?
The discounts are not limited so, if you bought enough mobile phones Exetel could actually pay you money to use an ADSL service!
