Naked users forgotten?
Re: Naked users forgotten?
Love it - have applied for the change.
Congrats to Exetel for the way in which they've handled this. Much, much better than the last "we're going to kick you off" email from last year!

Re: Naked users forgotten?
what exactly is involved in re-activating the PSTN line? does a technician need to come over and do something to the line? or is it done all at the "switch" end?

It's done at the exchange - you will not notice anything in most cases.kefa wrote:what exactly is involved in re-activating the PSTN line? does a technician need to come over and do something to the line? or is it done all at the "switch" end?

Re: Naked users forgotten?
If you are in contract you will have to wait a few days while we clarify with Optus that this offer is available to you.Klaas wrote:Quick question for those that have signed up for one of these.
I signed up yesterday afternoon, got the successful submission form the acknowledgement email, but if I go to the "Change Plan Status" tab in my user facilities, there is no sign of the change request.
Has anyone else seen this?
Thanks
The problem is there are no Optus personnel available at the moment.
Re: Naked users forgotten?
So how do we move our current exetel voip number to PSTN as this is my main contact number and once that is done can I get another voip number for 13/1300 / mobile / international calls?ForumAdmin wrote:Yesvzfree wrote:I am on D/22NOTEL Plan Naked ADSL2+ / VOIP, if I change to the OCV200 plan with Optus phone line, can I get the same phone line number as my current VOIP number?

Re: Naked users forgotten?
What counts as an Optus mobile? Would it include all resellers of Optus mobile? In particular I'm interested to know whether I can call a TPG mobile at no charge?ForumAdmin wrote:

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Hi Nemaik,
You can definately port your numbers with the new OCV 200/35 plans thats not a problem. The difference is that the cap $35 is included as oppose to a separate charge if you were to order individually.I'm currently on a naked plan with two vodafone mobiles and am interested in switching - does it make any difference whether i switch to "OCV - 200 for $60.00 per month" and request the mobiles be ported to the $35 cap, or switch to "OCV - 200/35 for $80.00 per month"?
I want to keep the same numbers.
Re: Naked users forgotten?
A few questions about the plan offer...
* If I change, do I keep the same static IP address?
* What fax to email options are available with the new plan? Is there free service for receiving faxes?
* Will there be any fee for paying by credit card?
* I'm currently on $45/month with 10GB peak. I'm not sure I will get the same value out of $60/month. Is the OTL-A plan still available? That would have been fine except the $98 changeover fee
Thanks!
Craig

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Also, is there an option to go shaped instead of $1/GB? Or is there an option to get a warning email or SMS when close to quota?
Thanks,
Craig
Thanks,
Craig

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Just to confirm.
If I currently have Naked + 2 x optus mobiles + 2 x vodafone mobiles with no contract. Would I just sign for the base ADSL OCV200 and leave the mobiles without the contract?
Can we get the feature of caller id masking back so I do not have to tell everyone my new PSTN number and it simply appears as an existing VoIP number?
Why does incoming caller id cost $3 extra? I thought only Telstra did that?
Will we get a PSTN number in our area as we cannot get Exetel VoIP numbers in our area so bringing that over would not help me?
What is the chances that tomorrows offer 1/1/11 will be better then todays offer?
Will Exetel at a later stage start charging again for the line rental?

Re: Naked users forgotten?
A few questions:
1. Does the free calls to local and national landlines numbers include 13 xx xx and 1300 xxx xxx numbers. If not, what is the charge?
2. Will there be any account admin charge fee ($3.00 per monthly) and credit card charges?
3. I expect to move residence during 2011. If I sign up the 12-mth contract, will there be any set up cost at the new residence?
thanks

2) No - CC cost is $1.10.
3) I don't know.
Re: Naked users forgotten?
Hi,
- For your first question, yes. In regards to caller ID masking we can do this but it wont appear as a voip number, merely private. Caller IDs are charged by our supplier. A new randomly supplied PSTN will be generated. the other two questions are commercial which I cant comment on.Re: Naked users forgotten?

Hi setup,
2 - Not that I'm aware of
3 - Yes, there will be a relocation fee as we need to activate the new service at the new address on new copper.
1 - No they don't. Charges are as per normal (13/1300 Calls: 30 cents per call)A few questions:
