Why the plan's price keep going up when wireless connection is becoming more and more common?
Back in the old days, the basic plan was
$0.00 monthly fee with 1.5 cents per Mb. Calls were $0.15 per 30 seconds
Then it went to $5.00 monthly fee with 1.5 cents per Mb
Now it's $5.00 monthly fee with 2.0 cents per Mb. Calls were $0.25 per 30 seconds
Why the price in Exetel keep going up while there's a downtrend in wireless price in the society.
Why does wireless plan price keep going up?
Re: Why does wireless plan price keep going up?
Possible those initial prices were unsustainable.
I think the downtrend in wireless is to do with other wireless ISPs jamming as many people on as little bandwidth as possible to save costs (i.e. heavily under-provisioned).

Re: Why does wireless plan price keep going up?
As Ravenous says: it is the aggressive pricing, bundling of large quotas, and over-provisioning of other providers that makes it seem like wireless is cheaper when in actual fact, underlying costs have actually risen.
