EDIT: I note on the change plan page there is a per-minute "Mobile A" for $5 a month......
The Mobile A plan (min $5.00 p/m with $5 included value) is the closest plan to the old Mobile 1 ($0.00 per month).
There is no activation fee for existing customers.

Plans are constantly re-worked, upgraded etc as time goes on, in order to try and achieve better value for customers.
All the current plans will be in place for the foreseeable future.

My apologies, there is actually a $20 activation charge on the per minute plans. I was thinking about the CAP plans, where there is no such charge.
Sorry for the confusion.

ExetelVoice, Thanks for the clarification, I bet there have been a lot of valuable customers stung by this latest round of plan cuts and thrusts, not just me. Bruceee

i just changed to a V plan and the new service is great - the 3G is so much quicker than the old vodafone service!! i would love to upgrade to a higher value V plan now that i know how good the service is.. but there is no option to change plan in member facilities?? can you please consider this as an option for people to change to the higher V plans - i'm so keen to upgrade to a higher plan now

It's nice to see someone so happy with the change. I'm about to lose 3G to move to Optus, who can't cover my home. For some reason Optus towers can't reach many valleys in the northern half of Sydney, while Vodafone can. I'll stay with Exetel though, for light-use value. I mostly wouldn't even take the mobile out except for the scarcity of public phones.

Handset $Price

Bberry 9800 $830 (Blackberry service not available until approx July 1)
LG Optimus 7 $740
Moto Milestone $700
Nokia C5 03 $240
Nokia C6 01 $345
Nokia E7 00 $720
Nokia X3 02 $200
Samsg Galaxy S $600
Samsg Galaxy tab $760
Samsg Omnia7 $700
ZTE V9 Tablet $250
You might want to source your Galaxy Tabs from JB HiFi. I bought one (unlocked) for my Mother in law about 4 weeks ago for under $350. They are being advertised by other electronics type stores for similar money too (WOW was one).

I read your response to another poster on prices and I understand what youre saying but that price difference is crazy, more than 50% cheaper. Or more importantly, yours are more than double.
