Forgot my username and password
I have not been used WebMail for quite a while so forget all my login details.
Then I just added new email account.
Just tried to use the new email login but failed.
Can Exetel techie help me?

Best would be to edit the email password through member's facility. You could follow below stepsI have not been used WebMail for quite a while so forget all my login details.

1. Please log in to "Exetel Member Facilities" via https://www.exetel.com.au/login/index.php
2. Once you are logged in please click on "Manage/Setup Email"
3. Then click on "View Email account" from the list available
4. Press on 'Edit password'
5. Type in the new email password and confirm it.

I am not sure what 'was' my old email account name and password because I have NOT used for quite a while.

It appears the old account has been deleted from the system back in April.
Also you have created the new email account with the same name.

I didn't receive any notification before it was deleted.

It appears the email account has been deleted from the system, since it was not active for 6 months. Once an account is removed from the system, we will not be able to retrieve the previous emails.I didn't receive any notification before it was deleted.

This is the policy did not let user aware of that before deletion?

We always appreciate your suggestion on making our system better. I have requested our development team to publish this information in the web site.No notifications, no confirmation.

I suspect that the suggestion is not to publish the deletion policy on the website, but to email the accounts (or even better, cc the main contact email of the account holder) and inform them about the impending account deletion.ShaminG wrote:We always appreciate your suggestion on making our system better. A similar notification would be useful for HSPA services, which have a policy (though I'm not sure if it is enforced) of terminating the account if the service remains inactive for 2 months
