Setting up email on mobile phone
Setting up email on mobile phone
Hi
I am using the Nokia N8 and having trouble setting it up to read my email.
Do I choose to set it up as Mail for Exchange or as "other"
And what do i need to put under domain and server?

Thanks can you let me know those settings again as I forgot what they are.
Re: Setting up email on mobile phone
Hi AL4K
Log into your User Facilities and go to the Email setup page and you will find the details there.
For example, In the ADSL User Facilities, go to Manage Services in the left-hand menu, then select Email, then go to the Setup Instructions tab.
Alternatively, have a read of this page

Re: Setting up email on mobile phone
I was under the impression that we can't connect to exetel SMTP servers unless we are connecting over an exetel ADSL connection, or possibly a "exetel1" mobile APN.ch0cb0mb wrote:hi, i tried hsmtp.wa.exemail.com.au and it says "could not connect"

Anything else is, I guess, regarded as a hostile and firewalled.

Yes you are correct

SMTP relay is not enabled on smtp.[state].exemail.com.au , this is the SMTP server for the free exemail service , however SMTP relay is enabled on hsmtp.exetel.com.au , this is the SMTP server for the paid hosting services.
