Re: Cant send email from iphone
lol i think you are right, i did sent the mail at home using wifi from exetel. so now that i've set up using vodafone smtp server would it work when i get home?
Re: Cant send email from iphone
yes can work fine, you may need to set your mail up as ssl though, see how you go once you try itdtn22 wrote:lol i think you are right, i did sent the mail at home using wifi from exetel. so now that i've set up using vodafone smtp server would it work when i get home?
Re: Cant send email from iphone
i had my primary server set up using exetel and the secondary as vodafone, technically if the primary is not available, the phone wll try the secondary but that didnt work for me. i had to turn off the primary when im not home so it can use the secondary to send mail. both setting are on for primary and secondary.
Re: Cant send email from iphone
just setting it to use Vodafone with authorisation would probably be simpler, then no need to change itdtn22 wrote:i had my primary server set up using exetel and the secondary as vodafone, technically if the primary is not available, the phone wll try the secondary but that didnt work for me. i had to turn off the primary when im not home so it can use the secondary to send mail. both setting are on for primary and secondary.
