Unplanned Outage Optus -QLD - ADSL/PSTN 07 Dec 11 10.31EST

Event

There is an unplanned outage of Optus QLD - ADSL/Telephony


Impact

Some services connected to QLD - Mackay - may experience a temporary disruption to their ADSL/Telephony service.

Current Status

There is no ETR at the moment. Optus Engineers are still investigating the issue.

Any update on this? I'm in greenbank, qld and am still without Internet since 1:30 aedst today.

Hi Josh,

We are still awaiting for an update from our Wholesale Supplier. As per the last update, they are still investigating the issue and currently there in no ETR.

We will provide you with an update as soon as possible.

Thanks for that. Just confirming its effecting more than "Mackay" as I'm nowhere near there. I'm more south east qld. Should I log a service ticket for this?

This Outage has been restored.

If you still experience an issue with the service please do log a case with us and we will be investigating it
