It seems that some facet of jQuery is remembering the last page the user was visiting in the member facilities. More accurately, it remembers the last URL sent via jquery. So upon login, it directs the user to pages like https://www.exetel.com.au/myexetel/paym ... nts_jquery and https://www.exetel.com.au/myexetel/cust ... ges_topbar resulting in blank screens, or message like the ["op",0,0,null]" that have been previously reported.
...and...this still hasn't been fixed since the new site's inception even though it should be the absolute simplest fix of all of them: The login actually goes TO A REDIRECT.PHP page before it is then handed off to some random jquery URL. JUST HARDCODE THE REDIRECT.PHP SCRIPT TO HTTPS://WWW.EXETEL.COM.AU/MYEXETEL. How much simpler could it be!!?
6 weeks on, and Exetel still haven't fixed this redirect bug. Words elude me as to the appropriate way to express my disappointment in this website migration.

This will be my final post to this particular thread as it seems that my time and effort in identifying website glitches such as this are going unheeded.

It looks like the “new user facilities” are a dead duck floating in a brackish pond! No one is willing fix it up and/or order a roll back of the old facilities. One would think this is an excellent way to alienate customers...

Wonder if we will survive to have a 15th birthday, as the 10th was a bit of a “fizzer”?

My last post too & no more recommendations!

Most (all?) of the issues posted will be resolved with a new release of the members portal in the next few days.

We appreciate you pointing them out, and we are certainly looking at this thread.

Not a glitch per say, but I've noticed that if you tell Firefox v28 to remember your login details for My Exetel that it will now automatically fill the Username and Password box with your details (With the old website it would never ever do that even if you told Firefox to remember your login details).

There is no way to log out of the My Exetel member facilities, so I clicked the Home button to go the the Exetel home Page and then logged back in to My Exetel and I received this error:

["op",9.96,24.5,200,"09:00 to 01:00","01:00 to 09:00",0]

This prevents me from logging back in to My Extel. The reason I did this was because I was creating an Exemail email account and it says it created the email correctly, but when I clicked the left most tab it showed I had no emails created... so I wanted to log out and back in to see if that fixed that tab.

This error has continued for at least 2 months now, ever since Exetel upgraded their website. See viewtopic.php?p=308833#p308833

Just try hardcoding the base URL into your browser (https://www.exetel.com.au/myexetel/ or https://www.exetel.com.au/myexetel/dashboard) and you'll get back to the dashboard instead of being redirected to the JQuery URL that is retrieving the ["op",9.96,24.5,200,"09:00 to 01:00","01:00 to 09:00",0] data string

Is that like "dog years" where one of Exetel's days equals seven of ours?

Hi Franpa,

To logout of your "dog's breakfast" er um user facilities, click on the "You are logged on as xxxxxxx" on the top menu bar and you'll find "logout" stashed in the drop down list.

We appreciate you pointing them out, and we are certainly looking at this thread.
It now seems that someone has "turned off" the old members facilities (can't access them this morning), so we can no longer access any of the very useful reports that were there - things like Radius server log ins to check on service disconnections, speed test history to see how speed is changing during problems, progress on fault tickets, etc.
There do seem to be major problems with the process of changing over the website, with all the comments here, and important functionality from the old members area not being moved to the new one before the old is (apparently) taken off line.

Can we please have the user functions back?

Old member facility is still available for two week under https://www.exetel.com.au/old_members/

Hopefully, that is in dog weeks.

A suggestion: Keep the old member facilities active until after the new release of the new website has been made live AND has been fully tested with no ill-effects or missing features noted by users.

Okay, thanks everyone. I can still not create an exemail Email account though. I navigate to https://www.exetel.com.au/myexetel/emai ... #undefined and fill in the details, I click the Add New Email button and it does it's thing and says it completed the task. I then click https://www.exetel.com.au/myexetel/email/view_email#0 and it doesn't list the email account...

I've tried making it numerous times now on multiple days with no success :/

Hi Franpa,

Could you please drop an email to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au with the information of the email accounts that you were not able to create? Then we can have a look and let you know what could be the issue :?

It seems that Exetel's landing page has been updated, and there are (possibly) further under-the-hood changes too in both the website and the user facilities.

The pages at http://www.exetel.com.au/broadband/adsl, etc are, arguably, well designed (though I believe there are too many header information boxes, that are too tall, before you get to the actual plan selections and inclusions) and I have only now stumbled across http://www.exetel.com.au/terms, which is a very useful single page of all the relevant terms and conditions.

However, the website *still* fails to redirect properly when logging in into MyExetel (sometimes redirecting to the AJAX url and causing no useful information to be displayed). And in my opinion, the changes that have been made to the Exetel landing page (http://www.exetel.com.au) makes it next to useless; it now look like a "Under construction" page rather than the home page of a service provider.
