What happens to the last month if I port away from exetel?
Do I pay the full month and have access to full usage? Or am I only charged for the month up until I port, but given a pro-rated usage?
If the latter, what happens if usage was within the total monthly limit, but over the adjusted usage for the shortened month?
Also, there seems to be some confusion over which account ID I need to arrange a port. Is it not the one displayed in my user facilities?

Did you manage to resolve this issue? I have been emailing Exetel for a week but had no luck with any replies.
I have already paid for the full month of August but I need Telstra coverage now, so would like to cancel my service and get a refund for the remainder of August.

Could we please get an answer on the forum here advising if pro-rata is refunded instead of "we'll get billing to contact you"? That's the whole point of a forum. To share commonly asked answers to avoid support calls/cases.

Assuming you provide 30 days notice, you will get back any pro-rata paid.
