SMS API
SMS API
I have a desktop application (set up years ago) where I can send sms using the Exetel SMS API.
I moved over to NBN yesterday - and find there is no provision to set up an SMS API registration on my new account pages.
How can I still use the Exetel SMS API?
..... Either using my previous username ....
...... or a new one?
Regards,
Harry.

Re: SMS API
The members for ADSL and NBN are the same.
Please go to "Premium VAS", then "SMS over Web", then click on the API tab.

The web page does not appear to allow an SMS API. (see attached).
Re: SMS API
I've asked this to be fixed.

Re: SMS API
As 30 June arrived and departed and the API services have not been "energised", I lodged support ticket on 15 Jul-15.
The ticket number is 9276291.
Please review and advise.

Re: SMS API
Ticket is with the billing department. I need to check whether we could merge your previous API with the current login. If so I will get them to do it and update you via the same ticket.harryL wrote:As 30 June arrived and departed and the API services have not been "energised", I lodged support ticket on 15 Jul-15.

Re: SMS API
Thanks, all fixed now - I have a SMS API on the other account I selected.
I then tried to set up a new API on that account - and found out about needing a new PIN, etc...
All good!

Re: SMS API
We have been waiting about a month for this problem to be fixed. We have several clients in need of this facility but they are fed up with using the 'SMS over Web' page as it takes too long and cumbersome to login and send a text message.
Might be time to look elsewhere...

I believe that a respond was sent to you via the same ticket id mentioned in this forum thread. Were you able to order new APN as advised?offroad wrote:We have been waiting about a month for this problem to be fixed.
