No VOIP after NBN activation

We recently changed over from ADSL+ to NBN.

NBN is working well.

I moved the phone connection from the splitter to the Phone1 socket on that back of the Exetel supplied NBN modem.

Calls can not be made to or from the VOIP phone. There is dial tone, but the call does not connect. Incoming calls fail.

I was under the impression that the modem was pre-configured and I did not have to make any changes.

I created a Fault Ticket for this 3 days ago (DAN-99375-231), but I have to assume these are not actually monitored as I have heard nothing.

We have received the email ticket from you under the ticket reference number 14246974, and Exetel apologise to you with the delay caused. We will check the configuration / registration and reply to you through the same email.

No reply after 48 hours with the same problem.

I have checked the ticket 14268275 and the Voip number is still pending. This will be escalated with our activation team and we expect to have the service activated by next Monday close of business.
