Moving House, Naked ADSL2

Post by willsy » Fri Jul 16, 2010 11:08 am

Hi There

I'm moving house soon and just have some questions about how the "move service address" works?

I'm moving on 30th July, If i put in the application today, it says the estimate connection date is 29th July, doesn't give any option for changing this date.

There are people living in the new address, so i don't want to accidentaly cut off their phone service or anything...

and when would my service be cut off at my existing address?

I'd probably suggest you email provisioning@exetel.com.au with these queries (and specifically to see if you can nominate the cut-over date with more precision), but the service will be cut-off at the existing address at the same time of becoming active at the new address.

Hi,

By default it works off a 10 working day standard as the relocation is submitted immediately after submission.

and when would my service be cut off at my existing address?
Your existing service will be cut-off once the service at the new residence is activated on that day.
